Qualifications

• 15+ years in commissioning, with 5+ years in management on offshore projects.
• Experience leading commissioning in large oil & gas or power projects.
• Proven track record commissioning complex systems and teams.
• Strong knowledge of startup procedures, testing, and compliance.
• Familiarity with scheduling and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop commissioning strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with project timelines.
• Lead and mentor the commissioning team to ensure high performance and compliance.
• Ensure safe operations by enforcing HSE regulations and procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction for smooth handover.
• Monitor milestones and verify systems are tested and ready before handover.
• Supervise testing and validation of systems to ensure functionality.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions during commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
• Allocate resources and manage tools and equipment efficiently.
• Ensure personnel are trained for operation and handover.
• Create and maintain commissioning documentation.
• Oversee formal handover of systems to clients.
• Monitor quality control throughout commissioning.
• Control budgets and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Ensure site is fully operational at end of commissioning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of commissioning processes.
