IRM Energy & Technology in Qatar seeks an experienced Metering Engineer to oversee and coordinate metering plans and activities, providing technical expertise on equipment integrity for OES projects.

You will lead installation, calibration, testing, and audits of metering devices, ensure regulatory compliance, and support budgets, tenders, and vendor coordination while applying new technologies to optimize project start-ups in Doha.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering.
• 6+ years in oil & gas, petrochemical, process, or power plants.
• 4+ years in flow measurement and metering.
• Proficient in engineering software for flow measurement (e.g., Kelton, S600).
• Knowledge of ISO standards for flow measurement.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement metering plans, standards, and specifications for OES projects.
• Integrate metering systems with cross-functional teams and facility designs.
• Oversee installation, calibration, testing, and audits of metering devices.
• Ensure equipment integrity, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Support contracts, tenders, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
• Conduct risk assessments focused on safety, reliability, and environmental compliance.
• Apply emerging technologies to optimize metering and project start-ups.
