Job summary

Employment in Qatar is seeking a seasoned Metering Engineer to organize and coordinate metering engineering plans, ensuring accuracy of flow measurement systems across projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to integrate metering into facility designs, coordinate installation and testing, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in instrumentation/electronics, 6 years of oil/gas or related experience with at least 4

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in instrumentation or electronics engineering.
Six years of experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, process plant or power plant with at least four years in flow metering.
Fluent in English with strong verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

Organize and coordinate metering engineering plans and activities.
Develop and implement metering plans per standards and specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate metering into facility designs.
Coordinate the installation, calibration and testing of metering devices.
Audit metering systems for compliance and improvement.
Interact with vendors, certification bodies and regulatory authorities.
