Job summary

Client of Brunel seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer in the energy or industrial sector to lead equipment selection sizing, hydraulic reviews, piping and valve design, and commissioning activities in a demanding environment.

The role requires extensive hands‑on experience with high‑pressure pumping, filtration interfaces, and rotating equipment, plus familiarity with ASME, API, and NACE standards. O&M support and performance evaluation are essential parts of the job.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Total experience: 12 years with at least 8 years in relevant area.
Strong experience with high‑pressure pumping, filtration, process piping, and rotating equipment.
Familiarity with ASME, API, and NACE requirements.
Experience in commissioning and O&M is essential.

Responsibilities

Equipment selection sizing.
Hydraulic and mechanical review.
HP/LP pumping and filtration interfaces.
Piping and valve design.
Pressure testing.
Installation.
Commissioning and troubleshooting.
O&M support and performance evaluation.
Experience with high‑pressure pumping, filtration, process piping and rotating equipment.
Familiarity with ASME/API/NACE requirements.
Commissioning and O&M experience essential.
