The Mechanical Engineer for PAE Government Services Inc. will apply engineering expertise to plan and design tools, engines, machines, and systems, with emphasis on HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression at Al Udeid Air Base, Doha, Qatar, under the AFCAP program.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, ensuring codes and standards compliance, and overseeing installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of central utility plants and related systems.

Formación

• Knowledge of engineering, planning, design and project management principles.
• Experience interpreting plans and drawings and ensuring code compliance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for facility and infra plans; strong communication and leadership.
• Experience with central utility plants and energy efficiency technologies is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Attend project meetings and provide technical input.
• Perform construction inspections, QA, and submittal reviews.
• Travel to areas outside the military installation as needed for compliance checks.
• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of central utility systems.
• Review HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression system designs and drawings for compliance.
