Job summary

QNB Group is seeking an experienced IT professional to lead and oversee in-house and distributed applications projects in Doha. You will guide a development team, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and ensure robust, secure, scalable software delivery for the financial services domain.

You hold a Bachelor’s in Computer Science with 8+ years in financial services, specializing in web or mobile app development, and you are proficient in .NET and Oracle PL/SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• 8+ years’ experience in financial services with a specialization in web or mobile application development.
• Knowledge in .NET and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Ability to analyze and improve architecture of existing systems to meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze possible software and application changes to ensure alignment with Group’s long-term strategy.
• Design, implement, document and develop applications within budget and plans; promote KPI adherence and efficiency.
• Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control software usage; ensure standards compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business units and stakeholders to meet requirements.
