Job summary
AECOM is seeking a seasoned Resident Engineer for Low Voltage electrical systems in Doha, Qatar. The role requires strong site supervision, technical oversight of LV installations, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery for large airport projects.
Ideal candidates will have 15+ years’ experience in complex building constructions, with 10+ years on international airport programs, and familiarity with cargo facilities is a plus.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience on large or complex building projects.
- Minimum 10 years on major international airport projects.
- Proven experience in low voltage electrical engineering and construction supervision.
- Experience coordinating electrical construction activities with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Experience reviewing technical submissions, shop drawings, inspection requests, and quality documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide site-based supervision and technical oversight of LV electrical installations.
- Monitor LV power distribution, lighting, and small power works.
- Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Support testing, commissioning, and system integration.
- Maintain quality assurance and documentation.
