Job summary

Malomatia seeks a Senior Linux Administrator to own and improve enterprise Linux platforms across on-prem and cloud environments (OCI and Azure). The role focuses on stability, security, and high availability, with Oracle Database knowledge mandatory and collaboration with database teams.

The candidate will manage virtualization (VMware), enterprise storage, and backup/recovery strategies while implementing automation and IaC practices using Ansible and Terraform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on Linux system administration in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Enterprise Linux (RHEL/Oracle Linux) and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, Oracle Linux, CentOS, AlmaLinux).
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening with enterprise tools.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and maintain high availability.
• Manage user access and system security.
• Deploy Linux workloads on OCI and Azure platforms.
• Design and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.
• Work with OCI and Azure services including compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring.
