Job summary
malomatia is seeking a Cloud Consultant to lead end-to-end management of the organization’s virtualization and cloud infrastructure, spanning VMware, Hyper-V, and Microsoft Azure, hosted in Qatar’s MCIT Datacenter. You will drive onboarding of government entities, design and deploy cloud solutions, ensure security and cost-efficiency, and support next‑gen container technologies.

Qualifications
- 8+ years in IT with emphasis on cloud environments.
- Experience designing, implementing, and securing cloud solutions.
- Strong Azure knowledge and Linux/containers background.
- Experience with VMware, OpenShift, Kubernetes and automation tools.
- Familiarity with cloud migration technologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize enterprise virtualization and Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Onboard government entities to MCIT Datacenter and design cloud architecture.
- Deploy and operate cloud solutions including POC and production environments.
- Maintain security/compliance and implement backup/recovery strategies.
- Lead container-based tech pilots (Kubernetes, OpenShift) and automation tasks.
