Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Lifting Discipline Lead to provide strategic and technical leadership across major offshore and onshore projects, ensuring lifting activities are executed safely, efficiently and in line with company, regulatory, and international standards.

You will serve as the technical focal point for lifting operations, guiding critical lifts, lifting assurance, risk management, competency, incident investigations, and continuous improvement, while coordinating with project,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering/sciences.
• OPITO LOLER Competent Person certification or equivalent.
• 10+ years in large-scale Oil & Gas projects, including construction, installation, offshore ops, or project execution.
• 2+ years supervisory/leadership experience overseeing contractors or vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifting activities across major onshore and offshore projects.
• Establish lifting assurance processes aligned with standards.
• Review critical lifting plans, risk assessments and execution strategies.
• Provide technical support for complex lifting operations.
• Interface between project and operations teams on lifting matters.
• Lead investigations of high‑potential lifting incidents and drive CAPA.
• Support selection and deployment of lifting personnel.
• Standardize lifting procedures, reporting, and lessons learned.
