Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Senior Legal Counsel in Doha to engage with a diverse team across the Middle East. You will tackle complex legal challenges in energy transmission and grid digitalization, negotiating and managing contracts that drive innovative projects.

You will contribute to global legal standards, support dispute resolution, and deliver trainings to stakeholders, enabling business transactions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate/commercial law for international projects.
• Proven ability to manage legal risks in complex transactions.
• Deep knowledge of contract law and international practices.
• Customer-oriented mindset enabling business transactions.
• Experience in managing disputes and advising on risk resolution.
• Strong teamwork with remote cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor on commercial, trade, and contract law for Siemens Energy’s Grid Technology Business in the Middle East.
• Analyze tenders and contracts, providing proactive advice and participating in negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
• Support execution and claim management, engaging external law firms in dispute resolution.
• Contribute to standardization and digitalization of contracts while collaborating with the global legal community.
• Develop and deliver training to educate key stakeholders on legal processes.
