Job summary
QatarEnergy is seeking a senior legal professional to provide ship acquisitions and marine transportation legal support in Doha. You will negotiate all related agreements and manage related claims, disputes, and pricing reviews in shipping activities.
The role requires extensive experience in shipping law, strong drafting skills, and proven ability to interact with regulators and government representatives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience in private practice or in-house, a substantial amount of which is in relation to Shipping Activities.
- Strong legal (including drafting) skills
- Experience of dealing with regulators and government representatives
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for ship acquisitions and marine transportation activities.
- Negotiate all agreements related to shipping activities.
- Manage related claims and disputes, including price and charter rate reviews.
