Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant discipline.
• 10+ years of information security experience in oil & gas preferred.
• Solid understanding of security controls and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Investigates security breaches per procedures and standards; reports and follows up to ensure actions are implemented.
• Defines and administers access rights and privileges; manages physical and logical access controls for continuous secure information access.
• Conducts security control reviews and risk assessments of networks and information systems; recommends remedial actions.
• Performs business risk and vulnerability assessments for medium complexity information systems.
• Reviews compliance with security policies and standards and ensures regulatory alignment.
• Monitors network usage and addresses policy breaches or privilege violations as needed.
• Explains security controls and risks to users; communicates assurance requirements and controls effectively.
• Investigates incidents with forensics where appropriate; documents findings and lessons learned for improvement.
• Delivers elements of security components within system architectures and seeks causes of incidents.
