Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced auditor to develop understanding of financial auditing within the company’s information processing environment in Doha, Qatar. Under supervision, you will plan and perform fieldwork to identify internal control risks and cost-reduction opportunities.

You will discuss findings with management, draft audit reports, and maintain a professional development plan while handling additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field; Master’s preferred.
• Qualification as a CPA/CA/CIA is desirable.
• 6-8 years of financial & operations-related audit work experience in a large organization.
• Knowledge of risk-based auditing, COSO framework, and internal control concepts.
• Strong writing, research, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a basic understanding of financial auditing and the company's information processing environment.
• Under supervision, conduct financial and operational reviews to identify internal control and business risks and cost reduction opportunities.
• Plan and carry out audit fieldwork; prepare concise, well-organized working papers reflecting audit tests performed.
• Discuss preliminary audit findings with management and document internal control improvements.
• Help develop draft audit reports.
• Maintain a professional development plan relative to performance expectations.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
