Job summary

Qualifications

• CA Inter qualification; candidates who have passed CA Inter preferred.
• Educational qualification: BSc in Finance/Accounting.
• Professional experiences: Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Advanced Diploma in Business and Accounting - ACCA Finalist.
• Competencies: strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of audit plans and programs by gathering relevant data on the area or function to be audited.
• Participate in the development of risk-based audit methodologies.
• Perform detailed reviews of financial statements, processes, and operational data to identify irregularities or inefficiencies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.
• Test the accuracy and reliability of financial records and systems.
• Prepare clear, concise, and well-documented audit working papers.
• Draft audit findings and assist in preparing reports to communicate audit results and recommendations to management.
• Work closely with senior auditors and other departments to gather required information and resolve audit issues.
• Attend quarterly AR meetings and take notes for audit purposes.
• Stay informed about new auditing techniques, regulations, and industry’s best practices.
• Perform as the HR Coordinator of the Dept.
• Assist senior internal auditors during audits in completing various tasks delegated from time to time.
