Job summary

MetLife Gulf is seeking an Internal Auditor to deliver local assurance and risk-based audits in Qatar, supporting the Qatar Central Bank and Audit Committee. You will engage with senior stakeholders, contribute to governance and control improvements, and help drive the Gulf Internal Audit function across Qatar.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in internal or external audit.
• Postgraduate designation (CPA/CA/ACCA or CIA) desirable.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing; strong communication.
• Experience in data analytics and interpreting complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assurance activities prescribed by the Qatar Central Bank (QCB).
• Conduct or assist in audits of moderate complexity across the enterprise.
• Assist the Head of Audit in drafting audit reports and issues.
• Support resolution of open audit and risk issues with management.
• Participate in audit projects within budget and timeline; explain variances.
• Perform other audit tasks as directed by Head of Audit.
