Job summary

AxiaMetrics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Infrastructure, DevOps, SecOps, Automation & DBA in Doha. The role covers Oracle DBX infrastructure, Linux systems, and cloud/hybrid environments with a focus on automation and security integration.

You will implement IaC, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices, manage Oracle RAC/Data Guard, and drive high availability with robust disaster recovery and performance tuning. This position is onsite in Doha, Qatar.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in enterprise infrastructure and DevOps.
• Experience supporting on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments in regulated settings.
• Strong automation and security integration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support Oracle DBX infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Administer Linux systems, virtualization, cloud infra, and Oracle databases.
• Implement IaC, automation, and CI/CD using industry tools.
• Support DevSecOps by integrating security into pipelines and operations.
• Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, backup/recovery, DR, cloning, and performance tuning.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure, apps, DBs, networking, and security platforms.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management for HA systems.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Produce technical documentation and root-cause analyses.
