Job summary

EY is seeking a qualified professional to support and oversee Independence compliance for the MENA region from its Qatar office. You will manage policy implementation, resolve complex queries, and collaborate with Global Independence and regional stakeholders to safeguard the firm's compliance culture.

The role requires strong analytical skills, policy interpretation abilities, and excellent English communication. Arabic language and regional exposure are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business Administration or Risk Management.
• Relevant professional experience in independence, compliance, governance, risk, audit, legal or regulatory work.
• Ability to lead complex assignments and work with limited supervision.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and compliance tools.

Responsibilities

• Support operation and maintenance of EY's Independence policies across the MENA region.
• Lead complex projects and country-wide compliance reviews.
• Analyze policy questions and resolve independence concerns.
• Provide guidance on complex situations and consult with global stakeholders.
• Deliver trainings and build awareness on independence developments.
• Develop relationships across service lines and regions to reduce violations.
