Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Lead Surface and Ground Water Hydraulic Modeller in Doha, Qatar. You will develop and validate complex hydraulic models for wastewater, stormwater, potable and recycled water systems, supporting master planning and design activities.

You will lead modelling teams, review data, prepare method statements, and present results to clients, liaising with multidisciplinary teams across regions to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering.
• 15+ years of hydraulic modelling experience in surface and ground water networks.
• Proficiency in InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM, SewerGEMS, InfoSewer; AutoCAD/ArcGIS.

Responsibilities

• Develop hydraulic models to support master planning, concept, preliminary and detailed design of wet infrastructure.
• Review, organize, and analyze collected data; develop modelling method statements.
• Carry out hydraulic modelling, calibration, validation, and develop solutions.
• Develop hydraulic modelling reports and review others' work.
• Lead hydraulic modelling work and coordinate outputs; develop maps to present results.
