Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Foul Water Hydraulic Modeller to lead hydraulic modelling for wastewater, stormwater and water/wastewater treatment studies in Qatar. You will develop, calibrate and validate complex gravity sewer models to support planning, design and operation of assets.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, liaise with clients and sub-contractors, and produce modelling reports. A Chartered/PE status or ongoing accreditation is an asset for advancing project delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in hydraulic modelling of foul water networks including scenario simulation and capacity analysis
• Ability to develop and validate hydraulic models independently and contribute to strategic solutions
• Experience with GCC country projects and relevant design standards is preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop hydraulic models to support master planning and detailed design of wet infrastructure
• Carry out model validation, calibration and verification using recognized software
• Develop hydraulic modelling reports and review others' work for quality and accuracy
• Create maps (CAD, GIS) to present hydraulic results and insights
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to present outputs and discuss technical options
