Job summary

Stantec in Doha, Qatar, seeks a senior civil engineer to lead an integrated master planning project covering stormwater, drainage, wastewater networks, and treatment plants. You will coordinate a multidisciplinary team and liaise with the client to ensure timely delivery.

You will oversee contract administration, manage data collection, review strategies, and prepare technical deliverables. Regularly report progress, risks, and costs while ensuring compliance with Stantec quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Civil Engineering field.
• Minimum 18 years of work experience.
• Membership of a recognized Project Management institution.
• Chartered Engineer status from an international body.
• Experience with wastewater, recycled water, and water planning.
• Experience in evaluating technical and financial proposals.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Ability to manage a heavy workload with attention to detail.
• Excellent computer skills; proficient with Office and reporting tools.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet objectives; strong teamwork.
• Proactive, able to coordinate complex tasks with management.
• Punctual, attentive, and compliant with company policies.
• Flexible hours and travel; occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated master planning process for water networks.
• Manage input from a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Oversee contract administration and client liaison.
• Coordinate data collection and analysis for strategy and planning.
• Prepare updates to technical specifications and guidance documents.
• Produce technical reports and deliverables with engineering input.
• Manage project costs, progress reporting, and EAC/CTC/ERAC metrics.
• Coordinate with remote teams to facilitate task delivery.
