Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking experienced HSE Officers to support health, safety and environmental compliance on a major rail and transport infrastructure project in Lusail, Qatar. Reporting to the Project HSE Manager, the posts involve monitoring site activities, enforcing safety procedures, and preventing incidents.

The assignment runs for approximately 15 months from Oct 2026 to Dec 2027, requires relocation to Lusail, and includes exposure to high-risk construction activities within a

Qualifications

• NEBOSH IGC mandatory for the role.
• 3–5 years of experience as HSE Officer/Safety Officer.
• Experience on construction, infrastructure or transport projects.
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
• Experience in risk assessments, toolbox talks and incident investigations.
• Knowledge of Permit-to-Work systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project HSE plan and procedures.
• Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe acts/conditions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and HSE standards.
• Monitor high-risk activities (work at height, excavation, lifting, confined space, hot works, electrical works, rail movements).
• Verify control measures before work begins; review risk assessments and JSA.
• Maintain HSE records, reports and Permit-to-Work documentation.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings; promote a positive HSE culture.
• Prepare incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
