Job summary

SAUR is seeking an HSE Manager for Doha, Qatar. You will establish, lead and continuously improve the HSE function across O&M activities, sites and projects, ensuring regulatory, client and ISO 45001/14001 compliance while managing risks and promoting a Zero Incident Culture.

The role demands strategic HSE leadership, strong contractor management, incident investigation and emergency preparedness across multiple operations in Doha. Fluent English and senior leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent preferred; ISO 45001/14001 auditing training advantageous.
• Minimum 20 years of overall experience in HSE leadership.
• Water/wastewater, utilities, infrastructure, industrial, construction or O&M experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve HSE policies and KPIs.
• Oversee HSE management across sites and projects.
• Provide strategic HSE advice to management.
• Ensure ISO 45001/14001 compliance and incident investigations.
• Promote zero incident culture and contractor compliance.
• Manage emergency preparedness and external audits.
