Job summary

Parsons seeks a senior HSE professional to lead site-based Health, Safety and Welfare teams across multiple work packages in Qatar. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (or equivalent).
• NEBOSH Diploma Level 6 or higher is required.
• Professional Occupational Health and Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH IGC/NGC, IOSH Managing Safely)
• ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the site-based Health, Safety and Welfare teams across both work packages.
• Oversee the Health, Safety and Security Management system and plan per ISO 45001:2018.
• Review and approve RAMS, procedures, risk assessments and method statements.
• Oversee RAMS documentation including inspections, accident reports and safety observations.
• Conduct site safety inspections and audits with Contractor representatives.
• Monitor safety performance and permit-to-work compliance.
• Lead investigations and lessons learned for incidents and near misses.
• Prepare and submit monthly HSE reports and KPI data.
• Coordinate with Client, Project Manager and Contractor reps to maintain safe operations.
• Mentor Fire Wardens and First Aiders; promote positive safety culture.
