Job summary

Saipem in Doha, Qatar is hiring a Project Technical Manager to lead all project engineering and technical activities, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and delivering on time, within cost and quality targets.

You will manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, define the project engineering organization, oversee planning, risk management, design reviews, and budgeting, and coordinate with clients, licensors and vendors. International travel to support projects may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 10–15 years of engineering/project experience in EPC projects within oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (Italian, French, Arabic) are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all project engineering activities across disciplines.
• Define and implement the project engineering organization, including staffing.
• Ensure engineering solutions meet contract, time, cost, and quality targets.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, deliverables, and outsourcing.
• Lead risk management, design reviews, and interdisciplinarity; coordinate with stakeholders and vendors.
