Qualifications

• Excellent communication to explain complex medical information to patients and families.
• Strong technical skills to perform procedures and analyze data.
• Ability to think quickly in high-stress situations and maintain composure.
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity; precision in surgical settings.
• Ability to supervise staff and work both independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and advise patients on surgical risks and potential benefits.
• Perform surgical procedures to prevent or correct injury or disease while following protocols.
• Maintain sterility in the operating room and oversee equipment and instrument readiness.
• Direct and coordinate hospital staff to ensure proper patient care.
• Plan preoperative and postoperative treatments and plan follow-up visits.
• Keep medical records and complete reports; participate in research activities and policy adherence.
• Contribute to professional development of medical, nursing, and technical staff.
• Participate in committees for patient care improvement and scheduling on-call duties.
