UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company seeks an experienced physician to treat life-threatening illnesses in an emergency department setting. You will establish care plans, refer to specialists, and ensure patient stabilization for transfer as needed.

The role requires a current medical license, ability to provide high-quality care, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Clinical leadership and SAP experience are valued assets in this position.

Formación

• Current and in good standing medical license to practice in country of residence.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care in emergency/urgent settings.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex medical information to patients and families.
• Excellent clinical decision-making under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
• Experience supervising fellows, staff physicians and residents.
• SAP knowledge or functional skills is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients entering the emergency room immediately and oversee emergency recovery.
• Conduct follow-up visits to monitor patient conditions.
• Request and interpret tests; follow a treatment plan accordingly.
• Develop comprehensive patient care plans and referrals to specialists.
• Ensure patient stabilization before transfer to appropriate departments.
• Provide discharge instructions and complete necessary paperwork.
• Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate with ER departments.

Job description

Job Summary

Responsible for treating patients with life-threatening illnesses, establishing effective patient care plans, and referring patients to the appropriate specialists. The incumbent shall be highly trained with proven experience working in an emergency room or urgent care setting.

Job Responsibilities 1

Assessing patients who enter the emergency room immediately and overseeing emergency recovery.

Conducting follow-up visits to monitor the patient’s condition.

Requesting the appropriate medical tests and based on them, following a treatment plan.

Developing effective patient care plans.

Referring patients to appropriate specialists.

Ensuring that patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department for further evaluation.

Providing instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork.

Maintaining patients' medical records.

Coordinating with different ER departments to ensure patients receive the necessary treatment.

Job Responsibilities 2

Actively participate in the planning and implementation of the department development plans and the different manpower training programs for the medical, technical and nursing staff in his/her area of expertise.

Participates in the various committees for the upgrading of services and organization of work within and outside the hospital.

Participates in scheduling of on-call duties and provides on-call services.

Participates in the assessment and updating of drug, medical supply and equipment needs.

Participates in research activities.

Performs special procedures as privileged.

Adheres to policies, guidelines, plans and programs of the organization.

Performs other duties as assigned/directed by the Head of the department.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Current and in a good standing medical license to practice in country of residence.Provides high quality care to patients in this area of medicine.Communication skills to explain complex medical information, procedures, answer questions to patients and their families.Technical skills to perform procedures and analyze data.Technical skills to interpret medical records, scan patient data and interpret test results.Ability to think and act quickly in a stressful environment.Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Perfect vision and visuospatial awareness.Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians and residents The ability to work well alone and within a team.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
