Job summary

SearchPlus HR in Doha seeks an experienced Consultant Urologist to provide expert clinical care and surgical management for a broad range of urological conditions. You will operate with endoscopic and minimally invasive techniques and work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

The role requires consultant-level clinical and surgical experience in urology, strong diagnostic skills, and eligibility for Qatar licensing.

Qualifications

• Substantial consultant-level clinical and surgical experience in Urology.
• Strong expertise in diagnosing and managing complex urological conditions.
• Experience in endoscopic and minimally invasive urological procedures is highly desirable.
• Excellent clinical judgement, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Eligibility for professional licensing in Qatar, subject to the relevant authority's requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of urological conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
• Perform urological surgeries and procedures, including endoscopic and minimally invasive techniques, according to clinical expertise.
• Manage kidney stones, prostate disorders, urinary tract infections, bladder conditions, and urological cancers.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and interpret relevant laboratory investigations and diagnostic imaging.
• Develop individualised treatment plans and provide pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care.
• Evaluate and manage male reproductive health conditions, including infertility and erectile dysfunction, where appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to clinical governance, patient safety, and infection-control standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing professional development.
