Job summary

Gulf Energy Technology and Projects in Qatar seeks an experienced Project Engineer – Fire Protection Services to lead fire protection engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning on large-scale projects in Oil & Gas/EPC. You will review drawings, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and ensure NFPA standards and QCS compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

You will support planning, material procurement, quantity take-offs, and resource requirements while maintaining

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a related engineering/technical discipline.
Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and QCS requirements.
Experience in oil & gas, EPC, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
Proven ability to review and interpret fire protection drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate fire protection engineering and installation activities through the project lifecycle.
Review and interpret fire protection drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and other disciplines for smooth execution.
Ensure all fire protection works comply with NFPA standards, QCS, and project specs.
Prepare and review shop drawings, submittals, and method statements.
Coordinate site activities and monitor installation progress, quality, and compliance with drawings.
Conduct inspections and ensure systems are installed, tested and commissioned as required.
Support estimation, tendering, planning, procurement and resource requirements.
