Job summary

EY Parthenon in Doha is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to join our Strategy & Transactions practice within Financial Services. You will lead valuation, modelling and economics engagements for Banking, Insurance and Asset Management clients, delivering strategic analyses and value-driven recommendations.

The role requires deep FS industry knowledge, strong client engagement, and ability to plan, execute and present complex deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or business and 7–12 years of related valuation experience.
• In-depth understanding and expertise in various valuation methodologies, market assessment, market sizing, feasibility and business plan building, operating and commercial model review, financial analyses, capital allocation and cost optimization, portfolio optimization, etc.
• Financial modelling skills, including experience building models from scratch.
• Strong understanding of financial services institutions’ balance sheet structure and operating models. IFRS standards related to fair value measurements, business combinations, impairment testing, etc.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on valuation, market sizing, and strategic value creation.
• Co-develop approach with client and define value measurements.
• Prepare deliverables including Excel data books, reports, presentations, and discussions with the client.
• Identify opportunities to sell additional services to our clients.
