Job summary
Honeywell Technologies is seeking an Advanced Field Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support, installation, and maintenance for complex equipment at customer sites. You will lead cross-functional teams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance while traveling as needed to varied locations.
The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving, and the ability to train customers and document service activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; diploma may be considered as substitute.
- Proven experience in field service engineering or similar technical roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of complex machinery and systems.
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving issues with diagnostic tools.
Responsibilities
- On-site support and maintenance for customer equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Interact with customers to understand needs and provide training.
- Maintain accurate service records and equipment status.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and support teams.
- Provide feedback to product development for improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
- Adhere to safety policies and travel to sites as needed.
- Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites.
