Job summary

NextPartners seeks a Senior Executive Chef for our upscale restaurant in Al-Khor, Qatar. You will lead the kitchen operations, develop African-authentic menus, ensure top-tier food quality, and mentor a diverse team to deliver excellence.

You will manage inventory, uphold safety standards, and collaborate with management on events and themed dinners. A culinary degree or equivalent is preferred; salary starts at 1200$ monthly, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining African cuisine restaurant.
• Proven track record of creating innovative menus featuring authentic African dishes.
• Strong leadership to train, motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation.
• Excellent communication with management, staff, suppliers and customers.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Executive Chef to join our team at our upscale restaurant in Al-Khor Qatar As a Senior Executive Chef you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation including menu development food preparation and managing kitchen staff

Responsibilities

• - Develop and create menus featuring authentic African cuisine that meet the high standards of the restaurant
• - Oversee all aspects of food preparation including portion control plating techniques and quality assurance
• - Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency and excellence in food preparation
• - Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies to maintain stock levels and reduce waste
• - Monitor kitchen sanitation practices and ensure compliance with all food safety regulations
• - Collaborate with management to plan special events or themed dinners featuring African cuisine
• - Continuously research new trends in African cuisine to update menu offerings and stay ahead of competitors

Requirements

• - Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment specializing in African cuisine
• - Proven track record of creating innovative menus featuring authentic African dishes
• - Strong leadership skills with the ability to train motivate and manage a diverse team
• - Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
• - Excellent communication skills to work effectively with management staff suppliers and customers

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a culinary degree or equivalent certification from an accredited institution Previous experience working in Qatar or other Gulf countries is preferred but not required

A competitive salary of 1200$ will be offered based on qualifications
