Job summary

Al Ali Engineering Co.WLL in Doha seeks an experienced Estimation Lead to drive tendering, prepare Bill of Quantities from drawings, and manage the estimation team. You will analyze project scopes, coordinate data in Candy CCS, and ensure timely submission of commercial bids.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering and 15+ years of related experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to drive project commercial success. This is a full-time on-site position in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE) or relevant field required.
• 15+ years of experience in estimation and tendering.
• Experience with BOQ preparation from tender drawings/documents.
• Ability to lead estimation team and manage commercial works from scratch.
• Familiar with Candy CCS software and common drawing tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and distribute tasks within the estimation department.
• Analyze project drawings and specifications; develop RFIs as needed.
• Prepare and verify Bill of Quantities from tender documents.
• Upload and organize data/files in CANDY; ensure professional output.
• Prepare bid forms, proposals, and clarifications for tenders.
• Coordinate with colleagues and managers to meet deadlines.
• Maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships for bids.
