Job summary

UCC Holding in Doha, Qatar, seeks an experienced Lead Procurement Engineer to join our EPC – Oil & Gas operations. You will lead procurement for rotating and static equipment, process packages, engineered items, and subcontract services, ensuring rigorous supplier qualification, RFQs, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in EPC procurement, strong vendor management, and proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement experience in EPC oil and gas projects.
• Strong experience with rotating and static equipment and process packages.
• Experience procuring engineered equipment, bulk materials, and subcontract services.
• Strong knowledge of vendor prequalification, RFQs, bid evaluation, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience in post-award activities, vendor documentation, inspections, FAT, expediting and delivery.
• Strong supplier and contract management knowledge.
• Experience leading Procurement Engineers, Buyers and Expeditors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems.
