Job summary

SSC Egypt is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer in Doha, Qatar for a 6+ month assignment. You will manage supplier and subcontractor prequalification, tendering, RFQ/RFI/ITB issuance, and commercial evaluation.

Strong SAP/ERP and negotiation skills are required. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 5–10+ years in Oil & Gas / EPC procurement, with experience in PO/SO/subcontracting and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
• 5–10+ years of experience in procurement/subcontracting in Oil & Gas or EPC sectors.
• Strong knowledge of oil & gas commodities and suppliers.
• Experience with RFQ/RFI/ITB/tendering, bid evaluation, and commercial clarification.

Responsibilities

• Prequalify suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare tendering and bidder lists; issue RFQ/RFI/ITB.
• Conduct commercial evaluation and clarification; negotiate with bidders.
