• Ensures all departmental employees perform according to organizational standards.
• Responsible for maintaining all equipment and systems according to required specifications.
• Ensures effective implementation of preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and maintains accurate records.
• Utilizes resources efficiently and minimizes unnecessary repair & maintenance expenses.
• Optimizes energy savings by implementing energy conservation initiatives.
• Ensures operational areas meet high service standards for guests and internal teams.
• Ensures immediate and appropriate response to any fire, smoke, or service interruptions during shift.
• Establishes and ensures compliance with engineering systems, procedures, and protocols.
• Recommends improvements to systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Ensures timely receipt of materials and spare parts through consistent follow‑up with the purchasing department.
• Encourages development of multi‑functional skills among subordinates.
• Utilizes the appraisal system to review staff performance and identify development needs.
• Ensures continuous technical and behavioral training for all department employees.
• Ensures staff attend trainings in their own and related areas to improve skills and support multifunctionality.
• Personally conducts key technical trainings relevant to assigned trades.
• Ensures all employees are fully trained in departmental systems, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Provides counseling to subordinates on personal and work‑related matters.
