Job summary

VOCO in Doha, DAW, QA is seeking an Engineering Technician for a full-time, on-site role to operate and maintain advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and boiler systems across guest rooms and public areas.

You will read meters, logs and procedures, perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and work with multiple departments to ensure safe, efficient operations and guest comfort.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or vocational training certificate.
• Understand and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and boiler systems.
• Read and understand test equipment, measuring devices and safety manuals.
• Read and understand blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical parts breakdown.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs & maintenance works as required.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and overhauling as stipulated.
• Keep M&E Plant and Equipment in excellent working condition.
• Assigned projects are completed within designated timeframes.
• Maintain safety and professional environment; ensure safe work practices at all times.
