Job summary

QatarEnergy Qatarization is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Technician to support production operations in troubleshooting electrical equipment and performing routine maintenance.

The role requires a minimum of ten years in oil and gas/petrochemical environments, strong schematic reading skills, and proficiency in English. You will work under supervision to maintain safety and reliability while using SAP CMMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Ten years of relevant oil & gas/petrochemical electrical experience.
• Experience maintaining transformers, switchgears, motors, MCCs and drives.
• Ability to read electrical power, single line and control schematics.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Provide discipline support to production operations for troubleshooting electrical equipment.
• Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance under supervision.
• Ensure safe, reliable and efficient execution to minimise plant impact.
• Utilise MS Office and SAP CMMS for documentation.
