Job summary

Facilities Management and Maintenance is seeking a Technician in Qatar to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, assist the team, and support continuous improvement within the department. You will report faults to the Engineer, TO, STO and help ensure high equipment availability.

The role requires an ITI certificate or diploma, knowledge of relevant health and safety standards, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of regulations (e.g., OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, BS).
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and within constraints.

Responsibilities

• Do the PPM assigned correctly and on time.
• Perform corrective tasks and complete them on time.
• Ensure high quality of their work.
• Assist subcontractors to perform the work assigned to them.
• Report defects, issues, breakdowns, damages, etc., to the Fault Reporting Center or Engineer, TO, STO.
• Follow the duty roster.
• Report any spare part requirements and availability.
• Follow all instructions as given by the TO,STO, Engineers.
• Take care of the tools, test tools and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
