Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Energy Specialist to serve as Base Energy Manager (BEM) at Al Udeid Air Base, Doha, Qatar. You will lead energy program initiatives, coordinate with HVAC/EMCS/Facilities, and ensure energy conservation aligns with federal objectives and mission needs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, 4+ years in energy management, and US Secret Clearance eligibility. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a challenging overseas setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in Energy Management with CEM certification.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Must read/write English and possess a driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide energy program support services for AFCAP contract.
• Establish an energy awareness program to reduce consumption.
• Coordinate utility management measures for buildings and systems.
• Provide energy use data to support the Energy Management Program in NexGen IT.
• Review project designs for energy conservation and resource efficiency.
• Track energy reductions using monthly utility data and NexGen IT.
