Job summary

Amentum in Qatar seeks a senior facilities electrical engineer to provide subject matter guidance on electrical power distribution, control systems, and asset lifecycle management for the installation. The role includes designing, budgeting, and overseeing projects, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and security requirements, and coordinating with AMP and engineering teams.

You will work with the BUILDER database, prepare documents for bids, and support pre-design for renovations.

Qualifications

Requires equivalent of an Air Force 5-level and 5 years experience in electrical systems.
Must be able to obtain Secret US Government Clearance.
Proficient in design calculations, layouts, drawings, and specs for facilities projects.
US citizenship required to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop design calculations, layouts, drawings, and specifications for projects.
Assist with pre-design work for new construction, renovations, and improvements for real property facilities.
Manage and administer the BUILDER database and facility inventory to ensure accuracy and currency.
Perform selected construction inspections, QA, submittal reviews, and prepare final construction drawings for qualified bids.
