Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering design.
• Experience with site management and project delivery in Oil & Gas.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, API, NFPA standards.
• Experience with brownfield and/or greenfield Oil & Gas projects.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical engineering design activities for Oil & Gas projects from concept development through detailed engineering and execution.
• Manage preparation, review, and approval of electrical deliverables including single-line diagrams, load lists, specifications, calculations, layouts, cable schedules, and equipment datasheets.
• Conduct and oversee electrical system studies, feasibility studies, and engineering evaluations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and ensure integration across disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance, leadership, and mentorship to engineers and designers.
• Review contractor and vendor submissions for compliance with standards and project specs.
• Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Lead site engineering activities, resolve technical issues, and support construction and handover phases.
• Ensure adherence to HSE requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and meetings.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical reports and recommendations.
