Job summary

ApplyMint seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to review, coordinate and manage the design aspects of large sewage infrastructure projects in Doha, Qatar. You will ensure compliance with local Qatar standards and international codes, and collaborate with clients, contractors and planners to obtain approvals and resolve technical issues.

The role requires deep knowledge of pump stations, multi-disciplinary coordination, and extensive construction supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional qualification/Chartered Engineer desirable.
• Minimum 15 years’ demonstrable experience, incl. 7+ years on large construction projects.
• Experience with pump stations and multi-disciplinary coordination.
• Knowledge of Qatar codes: QHDM, QTM, WZTMG, QCS; international codes where needed.

Responsibilities

• Review design documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Review designs against Qatar standards and codes.
• Comment on contractors’ and consultants’ submissions.
• Coordinate multi-engineering design activities and resolve interfaces.
• Approve and monitor design documents during construction.
• Coordinate design deliverables with construction sequencing.
• Ensure QDRS document uploads for approvals.
