Job summary

Swan Global in Doha, Qatar is seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to lead security operations, detect and respond to incidents, and drive threat-hunting initiatives. You will perform vulnerability management, penetration testing, and implement security tools and frameworks to elevate clients’ cybersecurity posture, while aligning with SLAs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Cybersecurity or related field.
10+ years in cybersecurity across security operations, threat hunting, vulnerability management and penetration testing.
Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead security operations to detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
Perform threat hunting and proactively identify security risks within the IT environment.
Conduct vulnerability management and ensure timely remediation of gaps.
Carry out penetration testing and provide detailed, actionable reports.
Implement and maintain security tools and frameworks to enhance the organization’s cybersecurity posture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with SLAs and client requirements.
Support the design and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
