Job summary

MACH Consultants in Qatar is seeking an experienced Security Analyst to lead security monitoring, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and incident triage. You will own SIEM alerts, investigate anomalies, and collaborate with SOC teams and IT leadership to neutralize threats.

Ideal candidates hold a cybersecurity or computer science degree with strong SIEM and log-analysis skills, and immediate availability to deploy in Qatar. Certifications and scripting ability are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in cybersecurity or computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of security operations, threat analysis or incident response.
• Strong SIEM, log analysis and threat intelligence experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise security events, SIEM alerts, and threat feeds.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and apply containment and remediation playbooks.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate pentests.
• Analyze logs from firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, DNS security, and endpoints.
• Collaborate with security engineers, IT admins, and IR teams.
• Formulate risk-based remediation recommendations and incident reports.
• Maintain and tune SIEM rules, detection use cases, and alert workflows.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and audits.
• Maintain incident logs, notes, and threat intelligence registers.
• Provide analytics support during audits and compliance reviews.
