Job summary

QatarEnergy LNG seeks a seasoned professional to lead crisis management readiness, response and recovery activities within a major oil and gas context. The role centers on developing and maintaining emergency plans, and coordinating exercises across assets and projects.

You will drive ICS training, support incident management teams, and produce analytical reports to enhance operational resilience and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, disaster management, engineering, business administration, or safety & risk management.
• Associate Emergency Managers (AEM) designation and ICS certifications.
• Experience with ICS levels 100-200-300 and MEMIR training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of crisis management policies and procedures.
• Provide support for asset and projects to align with crisis management guidance.
• Plan and coordinate Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 crisis management exercises.
• Deliver performance assessments and detailed reports for crisis management evaluations.
• Provide operational strategic support during disruptive incidents.
• Prepare and organize final submissions of reports on completed exercises.
• Provide bi-weekly DRM capability to activate Incident Management Teams in emergencies.
• Ensure readiness of Tier-1/2/3 centers and address gaps from inspections.
• Support Emergency Notification System operations.
• Facilitate ICS training and monitor performance gaps.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, disaster management, engineering, business administration, or safety & risk management

Associate Emergency Managers (AEM) Designation

Incident Command System Level 100-200-300

Incident Command System Train-The-Trainer (TOT) Instructional Certification for ICS 100 & 200
