Job summary

Airswift, a global manpower provider, is sourcing an Engineering Lead (Corrosion) for a major oil & gas operator in Qatar. The role is onshore in Ras Laffan with a long-term contract and a demanding schedule.

You will lead corrosion engineering activities, guide multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with project management systems and client standards. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in corrosion-focused engineering and extensive experience in corrosion engineering within

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with focus on corrosion science and materials.
• 8 years of experience in corrosion engineering roles, including 4 years in Oil & Gas.
• 1 year or more experience supervising or overseeing contractor/subcontractor personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide corrosion engineering knowledge, design, QA and leadership for project deliverables.
• Lead corrosion discipline activities and contribute to project department goals and field engineering.
• Interact with project owner, facilities owner, contractors, vendors and consultants to guide technical activities.
• Support external engineering teams to ensure designs meet client and project objectives.
• Develop and maintain best practices, lessons learned, and tools to improve project execution and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with client systems and processes and prepare project work plans.
