Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience underwriting corporate accounts (Property, Engineering, Casualty, General Accident).
• Strong underwriting technical and marketing skills.
• Good knowledge of Insurance Products & Services.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing existing corporate clients for Property, Engineering, Casualty, and General Accident lines.
• Underwrite good quality risks within authority limits.
• Determine premiums, coverage and other terms of insurance contracts.
• Assess risks and release quotations per underwriting guidelines and reinsurance arrangements.
• Negotiate premiums and policy terms with clients and brokers.
