Job summary

Venture Gulf Engineering W.L.L in Doha is seeking a Procurement Engineer - Civil with 10+ years of experience to manage procurement of civil materials, equipment, and subcontracted works on site. You will develop sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers, issue RFQs, negotiate terms, monitor orders, and ensure compliance with project specs and incoterms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in Oil & Gas, EPC
• Experience in civil materials and subcontracted works
• Strong negotiation and supplier management
• Knowledge of BOQs, drawings, incoterms, and contracts
• Proficiency with SAP and AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of civil materials, equipment, and subcontracted works.
• Review requisitions, specs, drawings, and BOQs to define requirements.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies with focus on landed cost.
• Negotiate terms, payment schedules, and delivery conditions.
• Issue RFQs/RFPs and evaluate offers with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor orders and contracts from placement to delivery.
• Maintain supplier database and conduct performance evaluations.
