Job summary

The role requires a Civil Eng degree, 10 years total experience with at least 5 in materials/QC on major projects, knowledge of international QA/QC standards, and MME (UPDA) registration in Qatar; excellent English communication; lead inspectors; contribute to project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of post-graduate experience with at least 5 years in materials/QC on large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience implementing international QA/QC standards in major projects.

Responsibilities

• Review material submittals for compliance with project specs and standards.
• Support construction teams with material submissions, approvals, testing and sampling.
• Lead laboratory and field QA/QC testing and review remedial measures.
• Inspect construction materials used in sewerage, drainage, roads and highways.
• Prepare, implement, and monitor QA/QC plans aligned with international standards.
• Analyze lab/technical reports, conduct acceptance sampling, and ensure quality control.
• Lead and motivate the QA/QC project team, including inspectors.
• Prepare concise technical reports on material testing and compliance.
• Engage across project lifecycle focusing on materials QA/QC.
• Coordinate close-out requirements and handover clearances.
